Technical Writing
My engineering background has allowed me to create a wide variety of documents including:
Instruction Manuals
User Guides
Business Plans
System Requirement Specifications
Functional Specificaitions
System Testing Specifications
I have created product brochures, promotional posters and product packaging. I posess a technical, engineering
background combined with creative
ideas to effectively relay technical concepts or step by step instructions to communicate product features or
describing system operations. My photographic and video experience allows me to effectively combine images
and graphics with excellent written and verbal skills to translate complicated equipment
operations or concepts into non-technial, easy to understand language.
Published Articles
When I write, my goal is to create a piece that is informative and
entertaining. To achieve this goal, my writing is generally a mix of
succinct descriptions, researched facts and some humor. This page
contains links to articles I have written that
have been published in other locations.

Warped World; Blog444.com
I have chronicled some of my adventures on the web so that
family and friends could virtually tag along from their computer.
The series of installments has become
Blog444.com.
The initial manifestation of the
Blog444.com
was via daily Email messages. The Email message included
what I was doing, my warped perspective on the odd things
that happened during the trip and pictures of the scenery where I
was that day. The folks on the receiving end forwarded the messages
to their friends or family and I received a LOT of requests
to be included on the email messages. The list of email addresses
continued to grow and the requests for re-sending of previous
messages increased to the point where it became very time
consuming.
The simple solution was to generate
Blog444.com so
that existing recipients could read along and new additions
could catch up without me having to re-send all of the previous
email messages.
