It is time to register for our 30th reunion!!! The sign up and payment deadline is July 20, 2009 but the Reunion Committee appreciates your effort to register as early as possible since early registration will aid in the success of the planning process.

The HWS Class of 1979 Reunion Committee has organized the following events for everyone's enjoyment. We hope to see you at one or all of the events.

Golf Outing Come out for some tremendously good times and laughs at the Webster Golf Club, formerly known as Happy Acres. We'll play 18 holes, similar to last time, but better course (East side) and hopefully better scores! Depending on the number of golfers, we will either have a shotgun start or tee times starting at 9 AM. $60 per adult includes golf, cart, lunch, prizes and a mystery gift. Event Coordinators: Dave Travis & Elizabeth Christensen (Phillips) Lake Cruise Join us from 6:30 to 8:30 PM for a cruise on the Harbor Towne Bell (an authentic paddleboat). We will cruise the Genesee River, Irondeqoit Bay and the Lake Ontario shoreline of Rochester. A "Grazing Stations Buffet" with cheese & crackers, veggies & dip, cocktail meatballs, chicken wings, cocktail shrimp and pizza squares will be available for those interested. Event Coordinator: Darlene Boyce Three Flags Bar Meet us any time after 8 PM for some late night fun and conversation in the patio area of Flags.

High School Tour Come for a guided tour to see how the school has grown since we went there thirty years ago. Event Coordinator: Bob Brunner Picnic at Webster Park (Kanatota Lodge) Pretend it's senior skip day again, throw on your casual picnic clothes and join us for a day of fun and good eats at Webster Park from 1 PM to 6 PM! Bring your family or just yourself. At the Kanatota Lodge shelter, we'll have beer, wine, soft drinks and good old-fashioned picnic food including B-B-Q pulled pork and chicken catered by our own hometown grocery store, Hegedorns!! Let's all continue in the tradition of the 20-year reunion picnic and come to reminisce about the good old days, enjoy the 70's music, take a hike in the park, walk to the peer, wade in the creek, swing on a swing, or play tennis. Bringing back memories? Good, we'll see you there and let us know that you are coming ASAP so we can prepare a great afternoon for everyone. Favorite Webster Business of 1979 Contest:
The Reunion Committee organized a "Favorite Webster Business of 1979" contest in an effort to reduce the cost of the reunion picnic and to honor Webster businesses that have been in business since 1979. A majority of the participants committed to provide either cash or in-kind donations and we committed to provide some community recognition of their business. The contest winner will be announced at the reunion picnic. Click on the 'Fav, Business' tab found in the left-hand menu to review business information and cast your vote for either Bill Gray's, Charlie's, Flags, Friendly's, Golden Boys, The Goodie Shoppe, Hegedorns, Kittelbergers, the Pennysaver, Pizza Hut, Proietti's, Webster Golf Club or the Webster Herald.
